Regardless of whether you are an avid music lover, or just a casual listener, Spotify can be a great way to listen to your favorite songs. However, there are some things to keep in mind if you are looking to make the most of this music service.
Free
Despite its reputation for being an ad-supported service, Spotify is actually free. But if you want to get the most out of the service, you’ll need to get a Premium account.
The Premium account features include no ads on mobile devices, no interruptions while you’re listening to music, and the ability to download up to five songs. If you’re a heavy user of the service, the Premium account could be worth the $10 per month price tag.
To start with, you’ll need to set up an account. You can do this with your PC or mobile device. You’ll also need to change your email address to something else.
Once you’ve set up your account, you’ll get a free three-month trial of Premium. Once that trial has expired, you’ll be charged for the Premium plan. Fortunately, you can cancel your subscription on the day before your membership expires and you won’t be charged for the following month. However, you’ll lose access to some of the other features.
